Welcome to Our Blog on the Camino Fisterra

Camino Fisterra and Muxia

Welcome to our Camino Finisterre and Muxia blog!

The Camino Fisterra, often referred to as the "end of the world" pilgrimage, offers a serene and profound extension of the Camino de Santiago. After reaching Santiago de Compostela, many pilgrims continue their journey westward to the coastal towns of Fisterra and Muxía, where they can reflect on their spiritual journey while immersed in stunning landscapes of cliffs, beaches, and the vast Atlantic Ocean.

Having recently completed the 690 km pilgrimage from Lisbon Portugal to Santiago de Compostella on the Camino Portuguese we continued our journey on the Camino Fisterra.  We would complete this 115 km pilgrimage from Santiago to Muxia to Finisterra Spain over 4 days.   This popular path provides a quieter, more introspective experience compared to the main Camino routes, making it a perfect way to deepen your connection to nature and yourself. Keep reading to discover why this trail should be part of your Camino adventure.

It was a wonderful experience that was unlike any of our previous pilgrimages over the years.
